Fornightly on Tuesday evenings Club Jazz provides an open mic night for jazz, swing and latin singers and musicians at the Manhattan Lounge at 50 Elizabeth Street (near the corner of Martin Place) Sydney from 6.30 – 10.00 pm.
Entry is free, with an affordable Italian inspired menu (some dishes for under $10), and a stylish cocktail list. The open mic night provides a great, and free night of music for both musicians and music lovers.
* note that the open mic doesn't suit bands or choirs, as participants are mainly individual singers, and some instrumentalists. Pieces are mainly jazz and latin standards, because they are well known by the band.

The Club Jazz band can add ambience and warmth to your corporate event or party. Club Jazz provides jazz and swing, lounge style entertainment for events of up to 100 people. Lineups range from a singer accompanited by a piano, up to a quartet format including bass and other instruments.
Club Jazz is relatively new has a repertoire of jazz standards. We also look for rare jazz and swing gems so that audiences can enjoy wonderful jazz music they have never heard before. Tunes inclued popular jazz from the 1920s through to the 1970s, and some non-jazz songs presented in a jazzy way. The Club Jazz signature tone is warm, happy, romantic and sweet.
Club Jazz members are often to be found at the open mike night at the El Rocco Jazz Cellar in Kings Cross Sydney, held every second Monday evening. See >The El Rocco Jazz Cellar.
